DOUBLE- CHECK YOUR BOOKING

Always double-check your test day location and start time before your test day. Where you booked your test and the test location can sometimes be different test times can also change sometimes. 

 

ARRIVE ON TIME

Always double-check how long it will take you to go to your test centres. If you are late, there is a chance you will not be able to take your test.

IDENTIFICATION

Bring the same identification document you used when you booked your exam. You WON'T be able to take your test without this ID.

PAPER-BASED OR COMPUTER-BASED TEST

You have the option to book a paper-based or computer-based exam.

 

If you book the paper-based exam, you will complete the Reading, Listening and Writing sections on paper. The Speaking section is usually done face-to-face with an IELTS examiner either just before or just after the other sections. 

 

If you book the computer-based exam, you will complete the Reading, Listening and Writing sections on a computer. The Speaking section is usually done face-to-face with an IELTS examiner. The Speaking section can be done one week before or one week after the other sections.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS

If you have a vision problem, hearing problem, speech problem or other medical condition, you may be able to receive special arrangements for your IELTS test. Please contact your test centre before booking your test to understand if you are able to receive any special accommodations.
